Minion Fuel

Minion Fuel is used to increase the output of Minions. Depending on the fuel, it lasts for either a limited amount of time or forever. Inferno Minion Fuels can also make the minion generate more drops, but they can only be used on  Inferno Minion.

A maximum of 1 type of Minion Fuel can be added to a minion, with a maximum of one stack for limited duration fuels, or a maximum of 1 for infinite duration fuels.

Minion Fuels with an infinite duration can be retrieved from a minion at any time. If a minion has at least two of a limited stackable fuel in its slot, the fuel can be partially refunded: one item in the stack (the one currently being used) will be destroyed, while the remaining fuel will be refunded.

Picking up a placed minion also refunds the fuel with the same system: fuels with an unlimited duration will be retrieved, while fuels with limited duration will have the first item in the stack destroyed, while any remaining limited fuel is refunded.

For example if a minion has 5x  Catalysts, you can click on the active fuel (or pick up the minion) to destroy 1 Catalyst, while refunding the remaining 4.

Below is a list of Minion Fuels, along with how long they last (real-time), the buff they give to the Minion's speed, how they are obtained, and the price on the Bazaar. If the item is not sold on the Bazaar, the price shown is the price to craft the item with materials bought from the Bazaar.

Note that the Minion's Time Between Actions is not decreased by the same percent as the speed increase. For more information, see § Calculations below.

Fuels increase the speed of the Minion by X%, which means that the Minion's Time Between Actions is decreased according to the following formula:

For a  Clay Minion XI with  Enchanted Coal, the Base Time Between Actions is 16 seconds, and the speed increase from the  Enchanted Coal is +10%, so the new Time Between Actions would be as follows:

• The fuels that have a multiplier (x2, x3, x4) instead of a percentage don't affect the Minion's Time Between Actions. Instead, they duplicate each item that the Minion produces.
• In version 0.7, when the  Catalyst was added, the duration was changed from using in-game time to using real time. The actual amount of time didn't change.
• Fuel works even when the player is not online, with the exception of the  Solar Panel, which only works with a player on the island.
• The  Solar Panel only works during the day (6AM to 7PM SkyBlock Time), but it can be used in combination with a  Day Saver to have it always work. However, the  Solar Panel will still only work when the player's island is loaded.
• Excluding infinite fuels,  Enchanted Bread is the cheapest fuel by the hour, making it a good choice for new profiles.
• Minion Fuels are additive with other Minion speed upgrades. For example, combining  Enchanted Coal (+10%), a  Minion Expander (+5%), and a Floating Crystal (+10%) results in a total boost of 25%.
• The maximum additive speed boost for a minion is 222%. It can be achieved on a Farming Crop Minion with the following modifiers:
  •  Foul Flesh (+90%)
  •  2 Flycatcher (both together +40%)
  •  Mithril Infusion (+10%)
  •  Free Will (+10%)
  •  Cornucopia Crystal (+10%)
    • 16 unique Farming Minion placed (+16%)
  •  Postcard (+5%)
  •  Beacon V (+10%)
    •  Scorched Power Crystal (+1%)
  • Efficient Farming from  Rabbit Pet (+30%)
