An Extremely Real Shuriken can be thrown at an enemy to tag them, granting +5% Magic Find against the tagged enemy when killed.
Mobs tagged by an Extremely Real Shuriken will have a ✯ symbol at the end of their name tag.
Bugs
[edit | edit source]- The Magic Find buff does not apply to mobs captured with a Pocket Black Hole.
- The symbol that appears in an entity's nametag when tagged still uses the old "✯" unicode symbol instead of the new custom "" from the official resource pack
Trivia
[edit | edit source]- The name Extremely Real Shuriken is likely meant to be sarcastic.
- This is reinforced by the fact that the ID of the item is FAKE_SHURIKEN.
- When used against Slayer Bosses, an Extremely Real Shuriken gives an additional flat +5 Magic Find on top of the +5% Magic Find.
- This is essentially mathematically equivalent to increasing the drop chance of rare items by 5%, regardless of the player's base Magic Find.
- Extremely Real Shurikens can be used as a substitute for Time Shurikens in the
Sun Gecko fight. - Extremely Real Shurikens cannot be used on The Garden.
