Larva Silk

Larva Silk is an UNCOMMON item.

Attacking a Larva 3 times in the  Wyld Woods with a Larva Hook grants Larva Silk.

Larva Silk can be applied to two blocks to create a Silkwire between them. The player can then use a  Silkwire Stick to attach themselves to the wire, allowing them to cross between two branches with ease and reach Odonatas with less difficulty.

If the player stays on the wire for too long, it will collapse, dropping the player. It will refuse to generate if the angle of the wire is too steep or the player attempts to place a string on a slab.

The player must bring the Argofay Bughunter  1 Larva Silk after they have presented the Bughunter with a Larva Hook. The player will then need to bring them another  6 Larva Silk to progress in the quest and claim a Silkwire Stick.

Additionally, giving  16 Larva Silk to Reed will complete Step #1 and grant the player a permanent +20  Rift Time.

Giving  8 Larva Silk to Alchemist is part of what is required to complete the Detransfigured Seraphine quest.
