The player can right-click on any green particles surrounding objects found in the Murder House to progress in Detective Amog's reverse murder quest. The following objects in the Murder House can be investigated:
| Object | Dialogue when Investigated |

| Flower Pot | - Flower Pot - This amazing bouquet has been made with love, no doubt about that. |
| Blood | - Blood - This blood stain has been looked at before. That definitely spooked them quite a lot, perhaps they ran away. But where did they run... |
| Ring | - Ring - This is clearly an engagement ring. However, there is a curve on the front where there should be a jewel. This is incomplete. |
| Fridge | - Fridge - The fridge is empty. But what are these? BlockDash receipts?? Hundreds of them! |
| Tall Painting | - Tall Painting - It looks like an abstract painting of our victim. They seem to be wearing a red-ish top and blue jeans. |
| Window | - Window - The attacker might've escaped through this window! Or one of the other windows! Or through the door! Or the chimney!!! |
| Large Painting | - Large Painting - A picture of the future wedding. This looks like the bride. The husband is missing from the picture of course, he will be dead by then... Unfortunately the picture is too pixelated to recognize the wife. |
| Letter | - Letter - A love letter! It appears that they are engaged. What a tragedy... They might have gone to warn their love of their incoming murder. |
Examining all eight objects will allow the player to speak to Detective Amog to continue the quest. The following message will be sent as well:
You've examined all the clues!
Talk to the detective.
Later in the quest, the player is tasked with scanning the room again:
