Easter Eggs

An Easter Egg is a hidden message in a game. This page holds the list of Easter Eggs in Hypixel SkyBlock. You may add anything that fits in this category. Remember to add new headings below when an Easter Egg is added.

The Midas' Sword is an endgame sword, but it's named after a king in Greek Mythology called Midas. Midas is the name of at least three members of the royal house of Phrygia. The most famous King Midas is popularly remembered in Greek mythology for his ability to turn everything he touched into gold. This came to be called the golden touch, also known as the Midas touch. This is also where the ability 'Greed' came from game from, since Midas's powers led him to riches.

The Midas Touch could be why the sword is a golden sword.

Upon Wolf Slayer III, the player will get a free item called the Maddox Batphone, but if one previews it and click on the crafting recipe, it says that the player will need 60 Enchanted Cobblestone, a Redstone Minion VIII, and 'Maddox's Phone Number,' the latter being an Unobtainable item.

In the Birch Park, there is a flower pot. If the player spams an oxeye daisy on it for 5 minutes and no Hypixel lag occurs, then the player will get a secret achievement called "Empty Flower Pot?"

If the player uses the Grappling Hook while it's cooling down, the chat will say "Whow! Slow Down!" "Whow" is a portmanteau of the words "wow" and "whoa."

If the player fishes in the end portal to the private island in the hub, it will say "sorry, no update here :( "

When the player is in a party and some of their friends travel to different island, it may show as someone is traveling to "Somewhere in Hypixel." Nothing more is known about this Easter egg / bug.

Using a vacuum on Tal Ker once you have accepted his offer will result in him making a humorous remark about not being a Pest, before leaving the garden and providing you the rewards anyways.
