Changelog/2026/July 15
Hello!
Today we're putting the release candidate for the 0.26.1 update on the Alpha Network. This update includes a handful of improvements to the new player experience (plenty more to come in the future!), some changes/additions to the Harvest Feast, and another iteration of the Healing Revamp.
► New Player-Focused QOL
[edit | edit source]➥ Beginner Sacks
[edit | edit source]
Beginner Sacks are a new tier of Sack beneath "Small". They only have a capacity of 640 items, and most of them only hold a smaller "beginner-focused" pool of items so that they don't overwhelm new players (for example, the Mining Sack only holds vanilla resources, so not Mithril).
Beginner Sacks are found in Tier II of certain collections but they can also be purchased for 250 Coins from the corresponding merchant.
Additional Sack Changes:
- Revamped their descriptions so that they are less overwhelming
- Sacks now have their own item type
- Moved some items around in the Pufferfish collection
➥ Accessory Changes
[edit | edit source]- Players now have 9 Accessory Bag slots unlocked by default
- Condensed Redstone Collection down to 9 tiers and rebalanced the slots they give across the tiers
- Reduced the Redstone needed to craft all the tiers of Personal Compactors
- Renamed Magical Power to Accessory Power so it is more clear where it comes from
- Accessories now list the Accessory Power that they give
- Reworked the descriptions of Power Stones to better explain what to do with them
- Added a dismissible chat message the first time a player finds an accessory
- Added an alert if you put an Accessory or an Equipment piece on your head slot
- Added an info button to the bottom of the Accessory Bag which lets you know how to unlock more slots
➥ Farming Changes
[edit | edit source]- Farming Armor Progression Changes
- Farm Suit Armor
- Renamed to Farmhand Armor

- Changed Helmet to a Haybale
- Not upgraded directly from Farmhand Armor

- Each piece now gives Speed and Defense
- New Full Set Bonus gives the player permanent Jump Boost III if they are sneaking
- Moved to Raw Rabbit II and made significantly cheaper
- Designer's Note: This new version of farming armor progression should be a major improvement over the old which required you to farm tons of Melons just to get started with Garden progression, only for you to then be asked to go back to farming Wheat/Carrot/Potatoes for Cropies, only for you later needing to go back to Melon for Squash.
- Farm Suit Armor
- Added a new Husbandry Merchant to the Barn that sells "Basic" versions of the Husbandry Axes
- Costs 100 Coins each
- Deal +10 Damage and buff respective Animal Drops
- Existing Husbandry Axe changes
- Renamed to "Advanced <animal> Axe"

- Purchasing them now costs the Basic tier of that Axe

- The Farmhand NPC's quest now rewards the player with a COMMON Chicken Pet and tells the player how to equip it
➥ Other Changes

- Made Enchanted Bookshelves a legacy item

- Using /warp jerry outside of Late Winter now specifies you need to wait until Late Winter to go, rather than just "Winter" generically
► Harvest Feast Changes
[edit | edit source]We've been gathering a lot of feedback regarding the Harvest Feast event since its release a couple of months ago. Today we are releasing a large batch of additions and changes to the Alpha Network in response to feedback.
➥ New Items
[edit | edit source]- Orchid Mantis Pet
- Grants base Overbloom and Speed
- First perk is "Swift Sickles", which grants +1 Farming Fortune for every 3 Speed you have
- Second perk is "Intelligent Specimen", which grants +20% more Farming Tool Exp
- Third perk is "Orchid Nectar", which gives you a 0.02% chance to find Jelly or Plant Matter when farming crops
- Crafted and upgraded with Floral Gelatin
- Designer's Note: This Pet is intended to give players earlier in progression more access to Overbloom and a way to upgrade their Farming Tools a bit faster if that is wanted. The third perk is also something entirely new, giving players a way to get more Sprayonator items independently of Pests if they so choose.
- Blooming Thorns
- Applies the "Thorny" Reforge to Equipment
- Grants Farming Fortune and Overbloom
- Thorny Bonus grants additional Overbloom per tier of Thorns you have on your armor
- Crafted with Cactus Flowers, Thorn Fragments, Thornshade, and Compacted Wild Roses
- Designer's Note: Thorns IV is a bit of a meme enchantment, maybe it'll be reworked someday. For the time being it'll have a small legitimate purpose in the game: giving you a bit more Overbloom if you are using this equipment reforge.
- Feast Burger With A Side of Deepfries
- Can be consumed up to 5 times, each time granting a permanent +1 Overbloom
- Crafted with Enchanted Hay Bales, Deepfries, Feastfungus, and Cornucopias
- Designer's Note: Gives another use to some of the less desirable Feast RARE CROPS.
➥ Feast Changes
[edit | edit source]- There are now 4 crops per season instead of 3 during Harvest and Grand Feasts
- Buzzybee's Fantabulous Disco Destination Changes
- Has been completely revamped
- Added a new "Juicy Nozzle" to Melon Slice Collection which upgrades the Sprayonator to the "Juicy Sprayonator"
- Upgrades spray duration to 45m
- Allows you to spray x3 materials for x2 base effects
- Buzzybee's Fantabulous Disco Destination has turned into the "Groovy Nozzle" which upgrades the Juicy Sprayonator to the "Groovy Sprayonator"
- Upgrades spray duration to 60m
- Allows you to spray x5 materials for x3 base effects
- Nerfed based Sprayonator a bit to account for these two new upgrades
- Note that the "Groovy Sprayonator" is better than the old base Sprayonator was, so this is not an overall nerf
- Left-clicking the Sprayonator now opens a menu that lets you easily select which material and nozzle you want to use
- Designer's Note: This Disco Destination has caused a multitude of issues since its original release. It was too easily abused by cheaters and quite literally took the "hunting" out of "pesthunting". Pesthunting is intended to be something to engage players more actively while farming, and the item in its current state worked directly against that. We strongly believe this design to be healthier for the game long term, and the Sprayonator has always felt like it needed an upgrade. This seemed like a good opportunity to kill two birds with one stone.
- You now only need x2 Feastfungi to craft "Fragranced" Brown Mushroom "Paste"
- Designer's Note: This item was previously far too expensive for the value it provided.
- Added x5 Carnival Tickets to each Donation Tier for both Harvest and Grand Feasts
- Buffed the NPC Sell Price of all Feast RARE CROPS to 50,000 Coins
- Designer's Note: The NPC Sell Price buff here is mainly targeted at Ironman players who have maxed out specific RARE CROPS but of course are still dropping them while farming/pesthunting.
- You can no longer fuse into the Cocoaleech Shard
- Designer's Note: Bypassed the intentional way of obtaining this item. We want for Mutations to be used in more recipes, but effectively no one crafted this Shard so it was as if we never added a recipe to it in the first place.
- Significantly buffed the amount of Copper earned from the Fungal Tip Jar
- Old: 25% chance to tip 2 or 3 Copper
- New: 75% chance to tip between 2 and 5 Copper
- Designer's Note: This item felt very underwhelming for how much it cost. Hopefully it feels better now for the price you pay.
- The Lucky Clover and Poignant Lucky Clover now give even more Overbloom, +7 and +13 respectively
- Designer's Note: As a reminder, the Magic Find given by these items will be removed at some point in the future with the Magic Find Rework. You can read more about the Magic Find Rework here.
- Jacob's Participation Medal Changes
- Made a legacy item, it can still be used as a Minion Fuel but it can no longer be obtained
- Added the "Super Jacob Entertainment System" Minion Upgrade item which generates Jacob's Tickets at the same rate
- Crafted with Chirping Stereos, a PlantBoy Advance, Botroot, Enchanted Paper, and Enchanted Iron Blocks
- Designer's Note: The original item, while thematically charming, was far too expensive to ever be worth using, especially given that it was temporary.
- Rarefinder Chip now gives +1.5/+2/+2.5 Overbloom per level instead of +2/+2.5/+3
- At max level it now gives +50 Overbloom instead of +60 Overbloom
- Designer's Note: The Rarefinder Chip gives such a large portion of the Overbloom in the game. With this update we are redistributing the amount it gave to other sources.
- By shift right-clicking you will consume the entire stack of Locust Larva in your hand
- Overpriced Drinks are now crafted with x8 Aggourdians and x8 Designer Coffee Beans instead of x14 Aggourdians and x64 Enchanted Sugar
- Designer's Note: Mainly a thematic change but also balances out the usefulness of both of these RARE CROPS a bit more.
- Increased the difficulty from Easy to Medium for the Feast Brothers contacts in the Contacts Directory
➥ Pet Changes
[edit | edit source]- Elephant Pet Changes
- MYTHIC Elephant's "Abundant Harvest" perk has been buffed to give +20% Sowdust (up from +15%)
- Added +50 Farming Fortune to the base stats of MYTHIC Elephants
- Mooshroom Cow Pet Changes
- Removed "Efficient Mushrooms" perk
"Mushroom Eater" is now the first perk "Farming Strength" is now the second perk
- Added a new third perk "Bovine Blessing" which gives you a 0.02% chance of find Cheese or Dung when farming crops
- Base Farming Fortune now scales from 1 → 100 instead of 11 → 110
- Refreshed item lore
- Bee Pet Changes
- Replaced "Weaponized Honey" with a new perk "Honey Harvester", which gives you a 0.02% chance to find Honey Jars when farming crops
- Halved the amount of Floral Gelatin needed to craft Royal Jelly
- Bea now sells Honey Dippers to upgrade your COMMON Bee Pet instead of the higher rarities directly
- Changed the default skin to better resemble the Bee from vanilla Minecraft
- Designer's Note: We wanted to give players (especially Ironman players) a way to grind more Sprayonator items directly if they so choose. Previously the only real way of getting most of these items was from killing Pests, meaning there was never really a way to stockpile them. The only way to have a chance at getting one was to spend one in the first place.
► Healing Revamp
[edit | edit source]Healing Revamp is back on Alpha with a ton of adjustments since the last testing session.
A quick summary for the uninitiated:
- Healing Revamp reworks Vitality as a resource stat that governs how often you can cast healing abilities.
- We don't intend for existing content to be harder as a result of these changes.
- We have since done a ton of damage adjustments that should in theory, make the current healing amount feel adequate.
This thread will contain a list of changes for Healing Revamp since the initial Public Alpha.
We would once again like to invite you all to test the Healing Revamp changes on Alpha, let us know if healing feels adequate in Combat content compared to the live network, including:
- Dungeons
- Slayers
- Crimson Isle
- Kuudra
- Fishing
- Mythological (Diana should be active during this Alpha session)
For those of you interested in the reasoning behind various changes in Healing Revamp, you should check out this design thread. Feedback regarding Healing Revamp can also be discussed there.
