0.23.6

Hypixel SkyBlock 0.23.6 - Mythological Ritual v2 & Vesuvius

Updated: November 4, 2025

Hello!

Today we've released version 0.23.6 of Hypixel SkyBlock, an update which introduces a whole host of new content to the Mythological Ritual along with Vesuvius, a useful NPC for Kuudra enthusiasts. Keep reading for all the details!

► Mythological Ritual v2

[edit | edit source]

Designer Note: This content will become available when Diana is next elected with her "Mythological Ritual" perk active. Word around the election booth is that she might be in the running again very soon.

As part of this update, Mayor Diana's Mythological Ritual perk has undergone a massive revamp that brings with it a whole host of new mobs, drops, treasures, and QoL changes. You can read more about the changes below.

➥ Mythic Griffin Pet

[edit | edit source]

The Griffin Pet can now be upgraded to its final rarity, Mythic, using the Mythic Griffin Upgrade Stone, which can be crafted using a number of valuable items obtained by playing the Mythological Ritual.

Upgrading your Griffin to Mythic unlocks 2 new mobs for you to take on - the Manticore, and King Minos himself - both of which have some particularly valuable drops.

Firstly, the Manticore can drop its Fated Stinger, which can upgrade the maximum level of the Venomous enchant on a weapon by one level. Not only this, but it can also drop the Manti-core, which can be crafted into the Manticore Claw, a particularly potent piece of combat equipment.

Lastly, King Minos himself might just make an appearance, if you should be so lucky. If you can defeat him and his trusty golden sheep, you might just find yourself left with a piece of Shimmering Wool. This extremely rare drop is used in crafting the Golden Fleece - a legendary cloak that's particularly useful for further increasing your rates during the Mythological Ritual, but also comes with some solid combat stats to boot.

➥ New Stat: Tracking

[edit | edit source]

Tracking is a new stat introduced as part of this update. For every 1 tracking you are 1% more likely to find mobs with the ♣ Elusive typing. Examples of mobs with this typing includes Field Mice, Diamond Goblins, Scathas, and Mythic Sea Creatures.

In terms of the Mythological Ritual, having more tracking will make you more likely to find the following ✿ Mythological mobs, which also have the ♣ Elusive typing:

  • Minos Inquisitor
  • Sphinx
  • Manticore
  • King Minos

A sizable amount of the new content added as part of this update will involve the Tracking stat, so keep it in mind!

Please note that we do not intend to add Inquisitor pity or anything similar for ✿ Mythological mobs - if you want to find them more often you simply need to increase your Tracking stat!

➥ Burrow Changes

[edit | edit source]

Previously, there were always 4 burrows in a chain. Burrow #1 always contained an arrow, burrows #2 and #3 mob or treasure at a 75%/25% split, and #4 was guaranteed to be something from the burrow treasure table. Now, though burrow #1 remains always an arrow, all other burrows maintain the 75%/25% split between mob or treasure.

With this update, though the base burrow length remains at 4, we have added some new ways to extend burrows:

  • The Archaic Spade and Deific Spades, upgrades to the Ancestral Spade, grant +2 and +4 burrow length respectively, in addition to allowing you to find more valuable items in burrows.
  • The 'Erudite' reforge, which can be applied to any Spade via the Daedalus' Notes item, grants +2 burrow length.

With an optimal build, this means a maximum burrow length of +10 is possible. The benefits of longer chains are less arrows - meaning more burrows containing mobs or treasures - and, if you have a Mythic Griffin, a bonus of up to +10 Tracking on your final burrow in a chain, meaning you're far more likely to find ♣ Elusive mobs.

➥ Hephaestus Items

[edit | edit source]

The Hephaestus Anvil can be crafted from 64x Enchanted Gold Blocks, 2x Braided Griffin Feathers, 1x Zog Anvil, 128x Enchanted Ancient Claw, and 64x Mythos Shards.

When placed in a crafting grid alongside 3 of any of the following items, all of the items will be consumed and a Hephaestus item will be created.

  • Crochet Tiger Plushie
    • Becomes Hephaestus Plushie. Bonus Attack Speed buff increased from 35% -> 50%.

► Vesuvius

[edit | edit source]

Ever wanted to deal with all your Kuudra loot chests at once? Fear not, as Vesuvius has arrived. Vesuvius can be found at the Kuudra's Skull. He functions very similar to Croesus in the Dungeon Hub, the only difference being he only shows chests from Kuudra.

You can now queue for Kuudra in the Dungeon Hub. If you're looking for your chests, Croesus has you covered for both Dungeons and Kuudra. The layout of the Dungeon Hub has also been updated for a fresher look.

► Other Changes

[edit | edit source]
  • Hidden Elections have been removed.
    • We feel that with the minister system, players benefit a lot more from open elections and planning what they can do in the upcoming days than the potential suspense a hidden election provides.
  • Fixed Wheel of Fate not working.
